AQUAE IMMITTENDAE, Civil law. The name of a servitude, which frequently occurs among neighbors. It is the right which the owner of a house, built insuch a manner as to be surrounded with other buildings, so that it has nooutlet for its waters, has, to cast water out of his windows on hisneighbor's roof court or soil.
